When it comes to functionality, Hushmat and Dynamat are pretty identical. They’re thick and can easily insulate unwanted noise. Hushmat also is a self-adhesive mat, which will relieve you of the responsibility of buying adhesive.
I should also note that Hushmat’s material is a bit thinner than Dynamat’s, but it’s still convenient since it comes in different kits for doors and floors and you can even purchase this product in bulk.
Because there are no cheap plastic fillers or asphalt resins, Hushmat doesn’t produce an odor, even at high temperatures.

Compared to Dynamat, Hushmat is a lot easier to install and remove, due to its thinner material. This will save you lots of time and energy, especially if you’re planning on removing it in the future.
Although it’s very easy to remove, the downside is that the mat can fall off if a particular ride is a bit rough and full of potholes.

In terms of effectiveness, its a pretty tough decision, but due to Dynamat being thicker than Hushmat (which means it’s better at sound-dampening), I’ll give Dynamat the win.
